In this paper is design a network based on Power Line Communication on communications management system of elevator. In a system of the elevator is currently using the Cat5 cable communication and power line cable as long as elevator hoistway. The use of Power Line Communication in the communication of the elevator can replace the role of CAT5 and maximize power line cable that have been installed. Power Line Communication is a communication technology of data, voice, video through the power line. The selection of Power Line Communication based on that the network is able to reach out more than existing cable. Testing performance in the design is to know is whether or not to be applied to the elevator communication systems. Test parameters used are throughput, transfer time, allocation time dan latency. From the results of testing found the value of parameters quite good only for allocation time higher 0.1 second than the existing. So that Power Line Communication on communication management system of elevator feasible to use.
