EMPLOYEE ATTENDANCE SYSTEM DESIGN AT WFH ERA AT PT SURYA MANDIRI BERSAUDARA
AbstractThe discipline of employee attendance is an important role in knowing the performance of a company, the attendance of this employee is still conditional because it does not refer to the existing regulations in the company. However, it is different from the current situation with the covid-19 outbreak, the company decided to work from home so that it can reduce the spread of covid-19 with the work from home regulation asking all employees to take attendance so that employees remain disciplined and work optimally . While working from home, attendance is carried out using cellphones via WhatsApp group, starting with accounting which sends attendance lists, then employees fill in attendance according to name.To find out the attendance data of accounting employees, always recap the data after all employees fill in attendance and make it a report, accounting must copy data using Microsoft. Excel to make it neat. The current problem is how the attendance process is running, whether the attendance process has problems, how to design an abscess system. The objectives of this study include knowing the current employee attendance system, knowing the current attendance reports and being able to improve the attendance report system and also designing an employee attendance system that can make filling in attendance easier and making reports accurately and quickly. The analytical method used in this study is the PIECES analysis method, using UML to model the system and the test method using black box testing. With this attendance system, it can be a solution to simplify employee attendance assessment because the proposed system can produce monitoring reports, so that reporting becomes fast and accurate.Keywords: attendance, assessment, reports.
