Abstrak
Six Sigma is a comprehensive approach that will dramatically improve the quality and consistency of products and services produced. Told as a comprehensive approach that includes a Six Sigma philosophy, tools and measuring instruments. Any effort to improve the quality of which was conducted using Six Sigma methods are always focused on customer and improvement measures are always focused directly on each process in its path, not only on the final examination only. Thus, in the Six Sigma there are a series of unbroken chain, which is connected from the customer, internal processes, and eventually realized that the product quality in accordance with customer expectations. According to the methods of Six Sigma, Six Sigma is achieved if the process can produce as much as 3.4 Defect Per Million Oppotunities (DPMO). Types of defects are the most widely received complaints and claims from customers is the type of deformed Ding and dents, which reached 100%. Then the problem statement is "The low quality of the Front Door Outer Panel Kijang Capsule is caused by defects and dents Ding display type in the product." Sigma values total for the manufacture of products Panel Front Door Outer Kijang Capsule is 3.52. If this product has the largest number of defects compared to other products, it can be said that the worst performance of the PT X has a sigma value of 3.52 which means an Average Company.
