ANALISIS NOISE DI CENTER REGISTER AIR CONDITIONER PADA MOBIL X

Abstrak

The human need for transportation in an age of fast-paced today is very necessary to support all activities , whether it is for work or other purposes . Convenience certainly be important for consumers in using the vehicle he used . But on the other hand there on things that reduce the comfort of the driver when using the vehicle , such as noise , especially on cars. To the authors analyze the occurrence of noise on center register AC in the car x to determine the cause of the noise. In this study the methods used are include literatures study, collecting data through vibration analysis, noise measurement, measurement of parts involved and other matters affecting the condition that occurs noise part . Then data analysis, trial activity and testing results of improvements made. Results of the analysis showed that the noise from the vibration that causes part of upper bush and blade contact where there is a gap of 0.6 mm which is becoming part oscillation space while the car vibrate on uneven road. From the measurement results of the dimensions of the parts that cause the noise is still within the standard tolerance but not in nominal value , which, if the dimensions of the part meets the nominal value of the standard gap between the blade and the upper bush is 0.2 mm , but the actual gap that exists is 0.6 mm. Based on this analysis , improvements were made to reduce the gap between the blade and the upper bush by changing the thickness of the upper bush of 0.5 mm . So, the gap ( space of oscillations ) previously 0.6 mm to 0.1 mm later and buffeting will not happen again when the car passes the uneven road noise in other words noise can be lost
