Decision Support System Design Using Smart Method (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) to Determine the Status of Poor People in Curug District, Tangerang Regency

Abstract

Poor society is a group of society that needs special and direct concern from government. To overcome it, the government is now doing a program to lighten the burden of the poor society such as giving fund and other needs through several government agencies. Curug Subdisctrict, in this case, is responsible and given an order by the government to provide help for the poor society and is expected to be provided quickly and accurately for those who need help. But, unfortunately, there is no technology that provides those both aspects in one-for-all media or tool. Based on that, writer has an idea to solve it by creating web-based application to do decision-making in determining properness of poor society’s criteria. The website uses SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) as its decision-making method because it has good relevance to Curug Subdistrict decision-making method, and this method can also contain many detailed criteria.Keywords: Decision Support System, Website, SMART, Poor Society
