INFORMATION SYSTEM DESIGN EMPLOYEE WAGE CALCULATION IN SMK KARYA BANGSA TANGERANG

Abstract

With the advancement of technology in this globalization era, almost all scopes of work use computer services. Both in the fields of industry, offices, government, entertainment, to move in the field of education, participated in enlivening computer servicesTangerang Karya Bangsa Vocational School is one of the business entities engaged in education facing a similar problem, namely in processing data related to honorariums to other allowances to obtain the information needed, sometimes inaccurate or not timely. The current honorarium calculation system at SMK Karya Bangsa is done in a semi-computerized way, which is limited to data storage and reporting using Microsoft Exel, and the rest is still manual. So that errors often occur in the calculation of honorariums and the processing process also requires a long time. To obtain the data needed during the study, the authors used several methods, including: interviews, observations, and literature studies. The data collected was then analyzed and illustrated in the Use Case form using UML software ver 6.4. From the interview results also obtained requirements in the form of Phase I Elicitation, then classified into Phase II Elicitation using the MDI method. From this stage, Phase III Elicitation was produced, which was then reclassified using the TOE method, resulting in the Final Elicitation Draft. The final result of this study is in the form of an honorarium calculation information system that can facilitate the financial department to process the honorarium calculation.
