DESIGN OF A RAW MATERIAL INVENTORY INFORMATION SYSTEM AT PT. ANEKA SARIVITA

Abstract

PT. ANEKA SARIVITA is a company engaged in the food production industry which was founded in 1990 by Mr. Ir. Herman Moeliana, the establishment of this company was motivated by the desire of the owners to contribute to meeting the nutritional needs of the people of Indonesia. The product produced is food as an example of its product, Proteina. The raw material inventory information system at PT Aneka Sarivita still uses a manual system for recording the inventory of raw materials in the warehouse, which is using forms, but for data collection, it has been using a computer using Microsoft Excel, data processing information has not been effective and efficient because of the "human error" and "Miss communication" between the admin and the warehouse against the amount of stock that is on the computer and the physical amount that is in the warehouse. With the design method using UML, the SWOT analysis method, the interview method and needs analysis with elicitation, and the application program with object-oriented design using PHP.
