DESIGN OF A WEB-BASED INVENTORY SYSTEM IN THE WAREHOUSE AT PT. PUTRABAKTI PARAMUDA

Abstract

Currently there are so many new innovations in which computers become inseparable from daily needs, so PT. Putrabakti Paramuda, a company engaged in Furniture and Fixture, realized that an information system design was needed to calculate inventory. Because of the poor reporting system which is currently ineffective, the purpose of creating this system is to simplify the process of calculating inventory in order to be more effective and efficient. The author also uses several methods, namely data collection, such as interviews, observation, and literature review. After that the analysis continues on the SWOT method, this method describes the strengths and weaknesses of the system, then after that looks for a solution to the solution. Furthermore, the system description uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). By using a web-based inventory system design, it is expected that the process of calculating inventory will run more effectively. In this system will produce a web design information system inventory of goods in warehousing at PT. Putrabakti Paramuda. Keywords : Inventory, Furniture and Fixture, UML (Unified Modeling Language).
