WEB-BASED PEER TO PEER FILE SHARING APPLICATION USING WEBRTC

Abstract

One of the most common thing to do among computer users is file sharing. The lack of standard among popular operating systems makes this task not an easy thing to do if we want to send files from and to different operating systems. Installing apps from third parties will not be easy for novice users and does not seem to be very efficient especially if it is rarely used. The result of this study is a web-based application that can be used to do peer to peer file sharing tasks using WebRTC technology and QR codes as an alternative method of signalling when the server is offline that is made with Blazor framework and C# programming language.Keywords : file sharing, peer to peer, WebRTC, QR code, Blazor
