PROMOTION AND REGISTRATION MEDIA DESIGN WEB-BASED AT THE COMPUTER CENTER TRAINING INSTITUTE

Abstract

LKP El Computer Center is a community learning forum in order to improve Human Resources (HR). The promotion and registration process currently running is still using paper media. There are still many obstacles, such as waste of paper and ink, it takes a long time when searching for student data and frequent data corruption occurs. Therefore, a website-based system that is integrated with a database is needed to make it easier to find student data and to avoid data damage or loss. To build this application using data collection methods, namely observation, interviews and literature study, analysis method using PIECES, system design using UML (Unified Modeling Language), and testing using Black Box Testing, while the programming language used is PHP with the text editor Sublime Text , as well as for databases using MySQL. With this system, it is hoped that it can make it easier for staff in the promotion and registration process.Keywords : Promotion, Registration, Student Data, Webs
