Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology is undeniable that there is rapidly growing competition, especially in the field of education. SMK Pelita Persada Tangerang is one of the schools whose tuition payment processes are still carried out in a semi-computerized manner. In which the payment process is still recorded using the SPP card, making SPP payment reports is still done in the ledger and Microsoft Office Excel is used to make SPP payment reports which will later be submitted to the principal. To make it easier to process payments and make monthly reports, schools need a special system to process the data. The purpose of this study is to design a web-based tuition payment system to make it easier for students to make tuition payments, perform calculations automatically, update data, can make it easier to find student payment history and there is no paper buildup. The analysis method uses PIECES (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service) which is used to conclude the results of data collection. The system design method uses the UML design method which consists of use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams besides the programming language used is PHP, the framework used is Laravel, the database used is MySQL, and the web server uses Laragon. The testing method used is blackbox testing. To reduce the occurrence of problems in the current SPP payment report process, the authors provide a solution to change the current system into a computerized system in order to obtain complete SPP payment report information. Keywords: Analysis, SPP Payment, SPP Recapitulation
