Abstract

Running text information delivery media is an interesting innovation in the development of information technology today. The application of Running Text on the Dot Matrix can be found in shops, offices, or in buildings and is usually used as a decoration for entrances, stations, airports, advertisements, and even used as a medium for delivering information to the general public. Running Text can be updated using a PC/laptop, so that users can update information according to the needs of the desired information content, but if the user is not in place, it will be difficult to update the information. However, in this study, a system was made where updating running text (Running Text) on the Dot Matrix could be done by no longer using a PC (Personal Computer), but can use Wifi Android phones wherever the user is.
