TEACHER PRESENCE SYSTEM WITH WEB-BASED QR CODE SCAN AND TELEGRAM BOT NOTIFICATION AT SMK LETRIS INDONESIA 2

Abstract

One of the uses of information technology is to help record attendance or presence in an organization or company by using "QR (Quick Response) codes" or "QR Code" or a barcode to read an identity. QR Code is a two-dimensional barcode that was invented by a Japanese company called Denso Wave in 1994. In general, the presence of teachers using technology that requires touching tools (used or touched by many users) such as fingerprints, pins or passwords and manual persistence. Because technology is also used to facilitate human life, technology is designed to be ready in any situation. It is the same when the author made this writing in the middle of the Covid-19 virus pandemic to create a system that helps teachers avoid the virus. Because, the Covid - 19 virus spreads human to human. It could be spread through the presence of attendance tools that are commonly used by the teacher during the presentation.
