Abstract

The functioning of a tourist area with good security and comfort is one of the main factors for visitors in visiting a tourist area. The zoo tourism area as a place of conservation has a special role in protecting animals and serving visitors. The safety and comfort of all area users is the main thing in the planning and design of the area. The purpose of this study was to identify the existing condition of the zoo area utility and analyze the completeness of the landscape utility as a support for all activities inside and outside the building. The research methods in the study are qualitative and quantitative. Data collection was carried out by observing and interpreting the results of planning and utility design in the Hambalang Zoo area. The analytical method used is the analysis of the calculation of tourism carrying capacity, analysis of vegetation and analysis of the results of planning and design of the tourist area of ​​the Hambalang Zoo. The results showed that there were several utilities in the Hambalang Zoo area that became the focus of development, namely drainage dimensions, clean water storage plans, clean water sources, clean water use capacity, visitor calculations, dirty water disposal plans, wastewater disposal from the food court, water schematic design and hydrants, power grid systems and garbage.
