POST OCCUPANCY EVALUATION ON THE LAKE OF THE BAITURRAHMAN MOSQUE RELIGIOUS TOURISM AREA, CIBOGO, SUKABUMI

Abstract

Since it was built in 2016 and inaugurated in 2018, the existence of the Baiturrahman Mosque in Cibogo Village, Ciengang Village, Gegerbitung District, has become one of the mainstays of religious tourism objects in Sukabumi Regency.The post-occupancy evaluation (POE) was carried out to look for problems and potentials that exist in the Baiturrahma Mosque area, especially on the lake as an object of Religious Tourism by adjusting the functions and needs of users which emphasizes the architectural aspects of the building and the behavior of its inhabitants according to the local community.This study aims to identify the use of lake facilities for visitors to the Baiturrahman Mosque area as well as to analyze the POE of lake facilities in the Baiturrahman Mosque area.The method used in this study is a qualitative method by observing the lake in the Baiturrahman Mosque Religious Tourism Area and interviewing local officials that are the head of RT and RW.The analysis used is POE analysis based on functional, technical, and behavioral aspects. The results show that the functional aspects still focus on the facilities that must be renovated and finished, the technical aspects focus on the development and renovation of a comfortable and safe hawker center area, and the behavioral aspects focus on education about the importance of keeping the environment clean in the lake area.Regarding the results of the analysis, the manager of the mosque must immediately improve themself for the convenience and safety of all parties when visiting the lake in the Baiturrahman Mosque Religious Tourism Area, so that it can be the basis in the process of developing the Baiturrahman Mosque religious tourism area.
